A Walk in the Parks / Noel J. Cutright Bird Club's
Great Wisconsin Birdathon fundraising page!
The Noel J. Cutright Bird Club members have traditionally walked the OWLT (Ozaukee Washington County Land Trust) properties or the County Parks in search of the many species we hope to see during spring migration. Our team total is the collective list of all species seen or heard by the club members that have volunteered to participate in the 2020 Great Wisconsin Birdathon. This year our target goal is 150 species while birding between April 15 - June 15.
Alas, the Spring of 2020 is anything but traditional.
First and foremost we hope everyone is well and remains healthy.
We reconize the value of outdoor activities while complying with social distancing & state guidelines in light of Gov. Evers' orders. In an effort to bird watch responsibly, our members have been asked to bird their own properties this year or a park location close to their home. As health guidelines change we will adjust also.
Please consider supporting "A Walk in the Parks" with a pledge per species or donation. No amount is too small--even small contributions add up! This year the Great Wisconsin Birdathon aims to raise $100,000 for bird conservation in Wisconsin.
Your contribution supports the priority projects of the Bird Protection Fund.
The Great Wisconsin Birdathon has raised over $500,000 for Wisconsin's birds since 2012. We have done so much, but there is still so much more to do. Thank you for joining me in making a sustainable future for Wisconsin's birds!
