Welcome to my Great Wisconsin Birdathon fundraising page! This is my first year doing the WI Birdathon and I'm incredibly excited to partake in such a meaningful fundraising event. Birding has been such a positive influence in my life and I want to help ensure that birds who spend all or part of the year in Wisconsin have all the resources they need to survive and thrive. I think most of us birders are aware of the recent publications of bird population declines.
To raise support and awareness for Wisconsin's birds, I've joined this walkathon-style fundraiser in which I will try to find as many bird species as possible on a single day: May 12. I will visit my favorite Wisconsin natural areas in the Dane County area, find the birds that live there, and share our love of birds with the community.
Please consider supporting me with a pledge per species or donation. No amount is too small--even small contributions add up! This year the Great Wisconsin Birdathon aims to raise $100,000 for bird conservation in Wisconsin. Your contribution supports the priority projects of the Bird Protection Fund.
The Great Wisconsin Birdathon has raised over $500,000 for Wisconsin's birds since 2012. We have done so much, but there is still so much more to do. Thank you for joining me in making a sustainable future for Wisconsin's birds! My feathered friends and I greatly appreciate it!
Good luck Cayla! I hope u spot all the birdies!
This amount donated from grandpa auntie Lynn and your Mom. Good luck and proud of you.
I want to see you break 100 on the day!
Crush it, Cayla!
