A long time ago, in a flyway close, close to home...

The Millennial Falcons is the Birdathon team of the Wayfarers, an intrepid group of people born before 1988, or is it 1986? who may or may not know things about birds. But we do know about cold brew coffee, selfies, and apartment saunas. And we LOVE Wisconsin's great outdoors and are setting off in hyperdrive to save Princess Lapwing from Darth Vulture.

Identify. Or do not. There is no try.

On Sunday, May 17th, the Millennial Falcons will cross the galaxies from Picnic Point to the Wisconsin River to the Degobird System, trying to find as many bird species as possible in 24 hours with a goal of identifying 120 bird species.

Help me, Obird-Wan Kenobi. You're my only hope.

Please consider making a donation to our Millennial Falcons team! Our fundraising goal is $1,234 - a small part of the $100,000 total goal for the Great Wisconsin Birdathon, which will have a huge impact on birds in Wisconsin...and beyond! Pledging one dollar per bird is always exciting! Your donation will support some of the highest priority bird conservation projects, including:

  • Conservation of endangered Kirtland's Warblers, Whooping Cranes, and Piping Plovers
  • Research, education, and habitat protection in Central and South America
  • Porg monitoring on jedi island
  • Community engagement and habitat protection through Bird City Wisconsin
  • The Wisconsin Breeding Bird Atlas II

May the force be with you!
