Thanks for supporting the Schlitz Audubon Screech Owls! We're raising money for bird conservation by hitting the trails of the nature center to find as many bird species as possible on May 21 (changed from May 19 due to uncooperative weather). Our team, made up of Schlitz Audubon staffers Michelle Allison, Zoe Finney, and Carrie Becker, will work socially-apart-yet-together by individually birding a section of the Center, and compiling our lists at the end of our big day.
Please consider supporting us with a per species pledge or donation! Half of your donation will stay with Schlitz Audubon Nature Center, the other half will go toward great bird conservation projects like those listed below. No amount is too small--even small contributions add up! This year the Great Wisconsin Birdathon aims to raise $100,000 for bird conservation in Wisconsin.our contribution supports the priority projects of the Bird Protection Fund.
The Great Wisconsin Birdathon has raised over $500,000 for Wisconsin's birds since 2012. We have done so much, but there is still so much more to do. Thank you for joining me in making a sustainable future for Wisconsin's birds!
Go Michelle and Team!
Go Screech Owls!
I hope the bird forecast is right, and you spot many beautiful and interesting birds!
Have fun birding! Thanks for doing this.
