Great Wisconsin Birdathon 2020

Raise Funds For Your Organization

You can use the Birdathon as an effective fundraising and friend-raising tool. The Birdathon can be a fun staff and board bonding activity, a way to engage major donors, connect with volunteers, or even a gateway activity to engage new people with your organization or Bird City. Your group can have one or more Birdathon teams. Half the funds your team raises will be mailed to you to support your own bird conservation initiatives and half will support priority conservation projects through the Bird Protection Fund

We Provide

  • Website with custom individual and team fundraising pages

  • Secure processing of donations and pledges by credit card or check

  • Receipts automatically sent to your donors

  • Donor contact info for your records

  • A check for half the total funds you raise

Next Steps

1. Endorse the Wisconsin Bird Conservation Partnership, a coalition of 175+ organizations, agencies, and businesses that pledge to help protect, restore, and enhance the populations and habitats of Wisconsin's wild birds. It's free and easy!

2. Register your Birdathon team(s) and customize your team pages. Make sure to include your organization or Bird City in your team name. Upon completing registration, the Birdathon Coordinator will follow-up with your team captain to receive contact information for mailing your check upon completion of the 2020 Birdathon.

4. Get Started planning for your Birdathon event! Select your date between April 15 - October 15, fundraise, and enjoy a spectacular day of birding and comradery!
