Great Wisconsin Birdathon 2018
Please note: donations are not being accepted by this participant at this time.

Goal $1,000.00

A long time ago in a galaxy far, far away...
Welcome to the Millennial Falcons' Great Wisconsin Birdathon fundraising page! The Millennial Falcons is the Birdathon team of the Wayfarers, a group of 20- and 30-somethings of the Natural Resources Foundation (...get it?). We LOVE Wisconsin's wildlife and great outdoors - and with your help, we can make a big difference!

Do. Or do not. There is no try.
On Thursday, May 10th, the Millennial Falcons will cross the galaxy (aka south central Wisconsin), trying to find as many bird species as possible within a 24-hour period (and with a couple of stops at local watering holes, of course!). Our goal is to find 100 bird species, and raise $1,000.

Help me, Obi-Wan Kenobi. You're my only hope.
Please consider making a donation to our Millennial Falcons team!
Our fundraising goal is $1,000 - a small part of the $100,000 total goal for the Great Wisconsin Birdathon, which will have a huge impact on birds in Wisconsin...and beyond! Your donation will support some of the highest priority bird conservation projects, including:

  • Conservation of Wisconsin's endangered bird species, including the Kirtland's warbler and whooping crane.
  • Research, education, and habitat protection for our migratory birds in Latin America.
  • Monitoring of shorebirds, waterbirds, and waterfowl on Lake Michigan and in east-central Wisconsin.
  • Community engagement and habitat protection through Bird City Wisconsin and the Wisconsin Stopover Initiative.
  • Research and citizen science programs including the Wisconsin Bird Monitoring Program and Wisconsin Breeding Bird Atlas II.

May the force be with you!
