The 2018 Birdathon is closed to donations (except for outstanding pledges), but you can support the Bird Protection Fund at any time by visiting the Natural Resources Foundation donation portal and choosing "Bird Protection Fund" as the special purpose for your donation.

Why Birdathon?

We believe that birds are valuable and NEED OUR HELP. The Natural Resources Foundation's Great Wisconsin Birdathon is an annual walkathon-style fundraiser that unites thousands of birders, conservationists, and people across Wisconsin who cherish our state's wildlife and natural wonders. Each spring individuals and organizations create teams to find as many bird species as possible in a single day, while raising funds to support priority bird conservation projects in Wisconsin.

The Birdathon is for everyone: individuals, friends and families, classrooms and clubs. Every pledge and donation you raise supports bird conservation and research projects in Wisconsin and beyond. With your help, we have raised over $400,000 for bird conservation and research since 2012!

Join us next year for the Great Wisconsin Birdathon 2019!
